What is the Unaccompanied Minor Age for Malaysia Airlines?
Alaska, US

Thinking of letting your child fly solo? The Malaysia Airlines Unaccompanied Minor Policy covers children from 5 to 15 years old who travel without a parent, or who sit in a different cabin from the adult they are travelling with.
Parents can’t simply tick a box online. The airline asks you to book the service through its call centre or a ticket office, then fill in a handling form that is checked at the airport.
Connections need extra care. If the layover is longer than a day, the service isn’t offered unless a guardian collects the child at the transfer point.
Talk to your child about the journey beforehand, and check the latest rules with the airline before you book.
